Support you. Push you. Help you get stronger.

Hi, I’m Mikaela, a licensed therapist providing telehealth therapy for teens, young adults, and adults in Florida and Nebraska. I specialize in trauma therapy, anxiety and depression counseling, and addiction support.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like your thoughts are working against you, you’re not alone. I help clients understand their emotions, process difficult experiences, and build practical coping skills that actually work in everyday life.

My approach is honest, straightforward, and human. We focus on what’s really going on, develop tools to manage stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your story.

My Counseling Approach

I work with adolescents and young adults, who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own. If you’ve ever felt like no one truly understands what you’re going through, therapy can be a place where you finally feel heard.

My approach to therapy is direct, honest, and collaborative. Sessions are professional but comfortable, creating a supportive space where you can speak openly without judgment. You don’t have to filter your thoughts or present a “perfect” version of yourself. Therapy is a space for real conversations and meaningful progress.

Together, we focus on practical, evidence-based strategies to help you:

  • Manage anxiety, depression, and chronic stress

  • Develop coping skills that work in everyday life

  • Navigate addiction and recovery with accountability and support

  • Break unhealthy patterns and build sustainable habits

  • Increase self-awareness and emotional regulation

Each session is individualized to your goals and needs. I integrate trauma-informed care and practical skill-building to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life. Therapy isn’t about quick fixes it’s about building resilience and creating lasting change.
